Aerodynamics

This course provides an introduction to fixed-wing flight mechanics, focusing on key concepts such as lift generation and theories related to thin airfoils and wings. Students will explore boundary layers and their applications to wing performance. Additionally, the course covers one- and two-dimensional compressible flow, examining its implications for aircraft and rocket engines. Through theoretical discussions and practical applications, students will gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles that govern fixed-wing flight.
