Engineering Processes
This course provides hands-on experience with essential machine tools commonly used in engineering and manufacturing environments, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, band saws, and grinders. Students will gain proficiency in the use of precision measurement devices, including micrometers and vernier calipers, critical for accurate machining. The course also covers fundamental welding techniques and introduces students to toolmaking, offering a comprehensive overview of the skills required to operate effectively in a machine shop or laboratory setting. Through practical exercises, students develop the technical expertise necessary for both fabrication and measurement in engineering applications.
