Propulsion Systems
This course focuses on the analysis of thrust generation from various propulsion systems, including rockets, gas turbines, and propellers. Students will apply one- and two-dimensional compressible flow concepts to analyze these systems in depth. Key topics include the performance of gas turbine components such as diffusers and nozzles, as well as turbomachinery and combustors. Through a combination of theoretical principles and practical applications, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of propulsion mechanisms and their engineering implications.
