This course introduces the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics for both open and closed systems, covering the fundamental principles governing energy and entropy. Students will explore the thermodynamic properties of solids, liquids, and gases, as well as basic power and refrigeration cycles, providing a foundation for understanding energy conversion and thermal systems.
